Background
Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a life-threatening arrhythmia that is difficult to treat safely with conventional therapies. Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) offers a non-invasive alternative, delivering ablative radiation doses to the arrhythmogenic substrate. However, the heart moves continuously with both cardiac contraction and respiration, and accurate real-time tracking of the target is essential to avoid delivering dose to surrounding healthy tissue.
